The Grit Up series and curriculum offer the general foundation for learning social emotional skills. However, because we know every class (and for parents- child) is different, this series is purposefully intended to adapt to each school’s/child’s unique needs. Grit Up staff offer rich trainings aimed at personalizing the curriculum to best meet the needs of the intended audience. We are skilled at helping schools and parents to explore how this series can benefit their students/children and keep up with the latest research in best school practice. As a result, a variety of services are offered.

Occurs at School District’s place of business to train on the Grit Up series curriculum and implementation. This explores the Grit Up series by way of small staff trainings, curriculum development, teacher or aide training, or general school implementation.

Offered for parents of the students on site at host school. This training offers psychoeducation around social emotional learning and explores how host school will be/has been working to utilize the curriculum to better serve their student body. This training also explores how parents can build off the program at home.
This training offers psychoeducation around social emotional learning and explores how community leaders and parents can implement the series. This training also explores how parents can build off the program at home.
Offered to parents of children fast approaching or already attending the second or third grade level. This training offers psychoeducation around social emotional learning and explores how this series can be utilized in the home setting. This training explores how parents can adapt the program to best meet the needs of their household.
Grit Up staff offer parent consultations (by phone or in person) to discuss how to best utilize this series at home.
