Empathy teaches children how to put themselves in someone else’s shoes and how to respond showing compassion. Empathy is necessary in order to develop emotional intelligence and foster healthy relationships.

Empathy is the fourth book in the series. This book introduces empathy and the importance of being able to have and express empathy.

This book includes a variety of discussion questions to better understand and develop empathy. Additionally, there are questions intended to help children understand how empathy impacts their own emotions.

Three activities are also included with the book. Activities are intended for a group setting, but can easily be adapted to an individual. The activities deepen a child’s understanding of empathy and identify the benefits of putting themselves in someone else’s shoes
